December GDT Challenge

Hello! Welcome to our once-a-month, two-week GDT challenge. The winner of this challenge will receive a great prize (more on that later) and the December GDT spot on the Sketchy Thursdays team.

This month is going to be special. We teamed up with Precocious Paper and the Attitude of Gratitude that Tessa is running on her blog for the month of November.

With that being said, this month's challenge is to use the sketch in this post as well as make a page that reflects gratitude, thankfulness, Thanksgiving and all that goes along with a month celebrating the things we are grateful for.

We loved this idea so much, that some members of the DT also played along.

Here is a little bit more about our sponsor Precocious Paper.

Precocious Paper is part passion for paper, part fervor for fabric and part enthusiasm for eco-friendliness all wrapped up in a love of the handmade.  A long-time scrapbooker and crafter, owner Tessa Buys was inspired by the venue of Etsy and knew that she needed to carve out her own little niche.

In February of 2008, Tessa opened shop with handmade cards on her shelves, soon to be followed by fabric and felt flowers.  Precocious Paper now carries several lines of embellishments such as Sweet Spots, Lace and Fabric Flowers, Sewing Pattern Petals, Cupcake Poppies and more.

Precocious Paper also releases samplers of color-coordinated, handmade embellishments on a monthly basis. Digital scrapbookers can find digi versions of Precocious Paper products via a partnership with Sahlin Studio on Etsy. Tessa’s Dyed Cardboard Flowers were featured in the debut issue of Green Craft Magazine, and several layouts including Precocious Paper products have found their way onto magazine pages. Worldwide, Precocious Paper customers have made hair pieces, decorated wedding tablescapes, and created altered art and a multitude of paper crafts.

Nothing else brings Tessa the same sweet happiness of seeing her products bringing creative spark to the lives of others.

Here is a picture of the fabulous Attitude of Gratitude kit that she has available now in the shop.

Our lucky December GDT winner will receive a $10.00 shop credit AND the Attitude of Gratitude Kit from Precocious Paper. Thanks, Tessa!

Share the URL to your entry in the comments of this post before Nov. 19th at 11:59 p.m. (EST) for a chance to be eligible to win the GDT spot as well as the prize from Precocious Paper. The Top 5 will be chosen by the DT and then put up to a vote here on Monday, Nov. 21. Our final winner will be announced on Wed., Nov. 23rd.
