Meet the Next Sketchy Thursdays Design Team

I know.  I know.  You've been waiting with bated breath for the announcement of the next Design Team, right?  :oD 

This was such a HARD decision for Diana & I!!   But I will tell you...there was very little disagreement on who we thought should make the team.   We're just so excited about this awesome group we've put together!

The next Design Team will serve a 6-month term beginning October 1. 

In the meantime, PLEASE let our current Design Team know how amazing they've been and send them lots of love.  They still have 3 more sketches to WOW you with!  Come Sept. 30 we'll be so sad to see them go but we hope they'll pop in and play with us every once in a while.  (Especially now that they'll eligible to play for the prizes again, LOL!)

Keshet Shenkar Starr

Hi!  I'm Keshet Shenkar Starr and I'm a twenty-five-year-old law student living in the New York/ New Jersey area with my (very patient and scrapbook-supportive) husband, Steve. I began scrapbooking at sixteen when my father, a business consultant, worked for a scrapbook company and came home with a bag of free product. He has since complained that it was his most expensive consulting job ever! After discovering the online scrapbooking community a year ago, I have done a lot less homework and laundry but had a lot more fun! When I'm not scrapbooking, I enjoy baking, reading novels, creative writing, photography, and entertaining. I have been published by Scrapbook Trends, Ella Publishing, and Scrapbooking.com. Hello Sketchy fans, my name is Tajanee White.  I go by Taj White (like the Taj-Mahal). I am very excited to be joining you ladies for some scrappy sketchy fun. I live in Texas with my husband and our 3 all too energetic children. We are originally from Long Beach, California but enjoy our new lives in Texas. I have been scrapping for 2 years, I love all things floral, whimsy, bright, and happy. I also enjoy photography, music, fashion, and serving Christ. I look forward to creating with you all!!

Tomomi Hiramaru

Hi, I'm Tomomi. :) I am excited and honored to be a part of the Sketchy Thursdays DT!!!

I live in Japan with my husband and two lovely daughters (6-years-old and 3-years-old).  I love scrapbooking, knitting, shopping, taking a walk, and so on. :)  All of them become my inspiration.

I'm looking forward to working with amazing sketches!!! Thanks!!! :)

Mirjam Hendriks

My name is Mirjam and I live happily together with Richard and our two furry-cat-friends, Mees and Guusje, in the city Harderwijk (the Netherlands). I work with mentally handicapped people and I love my job...but of course I love my free time more and most of the time I spend it in my scraproom.

Since my childhood I'm a huge crafts lover...I always collected cute stickers & papers and cut out pictures from magazines to make my own little books...so as a child I also did some scrapping (without knowing that. :) :)

When I started some years ago with scrapping I also found out blogging (my blog: http://www.sweetandcolorful.blogspot.com/ )...it's so much FUN to 'meet' people around the whole world with the same passion for scrapping by their blogs...and it makes my day when I receive those lovely comments on my scrapwork. I really get inspired by the work I see on other scrapblogs...so before I start with a new project, I visit my fave blogs and then I have inspiration enough!!!

Together with my cats (they're my fave subject to scrap about), music, a cup of tea and an incense stick...then I have a perfect scraptime and forget everything around me!

I'm so excited to be a part of the Sketchy Thursdays design team...can't wait to start!!!!

 

 

Jeanet Kuiper

Hi everyone , I am Jeanet Kuiper. All the way from the Netherlands.

I'm living together with my boyfriend, for almost 19 years now, and we have a beautiful little family; our son Levi, a doggy named Dusty and a little bunny called Flappie ;)

Scrapping is such a big part of my life, I love to look back on my photos and memories, reminds me of all the good things in life I am thankfull for. That includes the not so good ones too ;)

I especially love to use paint, ink and stamps and I so love to work with sketches, that's why I am so delighted to be on the Sketchy Thursdays team, these sketches rock!

I am a happy mother to three energetic, wonderful boys and wife to an amazing, supportive husband.  I began scrapbooking in high school and became seriously addicted when we started our little family. Besides a means to record precious family stories, scrapbooking is my creative outlet. When I am not scrapbooking or creating for my Etsy shop, Precocious Paper, I am choreographing and teaching as a professional dancer and actively serving in my church. I am thrilled to be designing once again for Sketchy Thursdays and feel very blessed to be a part of such a fantastic site.

I'm Lisa and I'm from the UK. I run a wedding business from home which fits perfectly around my 2 Kids, Hollie 10 and Louis 8. I get to create most days and love to bake and read too. I love messy scrapping, paints, mists anything that gets my fingers grubby.

Julie Tucker-Wolek

My name is Julie Tucker-Wolek and I am way excited to be a part of Sketchy Thursdays! :) I have been seriously scrapping for the past 3 years, but recently found out that I made my first scrapbook for my Aunt back in 1985! lol! It was filled with a bunch of stamped "thumb" people! lol! I guess even back then, scrappin' was in my blood!!
