say hello to the new DT!

Thank you to everyone who applied! Many of you know that this was really tough for Heidi and I to choose only a handful of you. For two girls who find inspiration in everything and run a challenge where the winner is cast by a random number generator, having to pick from all of you is agonizing.

But, in the end, we did have to choose. And here is your new DT!

Lisa

I'm Lisa and I'm from the UK. I run a wedding business from home which fits perfectly around my 2 Kids, Hollie 10 and Louis 8. I get to create most days and love to bake and read too. I love messy scrapping, paints, mists anything that gets my fingers grubby.

Julie

My name is Julie Tucker-Wolek and I am way excited to be a part of Sketchy Thursdays! :) I have been seriously scrapping for the past 3 years, but recently found out that I made my first scrapbook for my Aunt back in 1985! lol! It was filled with a bunch of stamped "thumb" people! lol! I guess even back then, scrappin' was in my blood!! Hi my name is Beverley Cunningham and I have been scrapbooking for almost four years. I live in New Zealand with my husband and three children. My favourite styles of scrapping are Shabby Chic and Grunge. I am really excited and honoured to be chosen to be on the Sketchy Thursdays Design Team. I look forward to being able to inspire and meet you all along with the rest of the design team.

Adora

Hi, I’m Adora Concepcion. I am so thrilled and honored to be a part of this creative team. I hope that my work inspired by the wonderful sketches, will provide some inspirations to my fellow scappers out there. Scrapbooking is one of my passions. I love the fun and the artistic way of preserving once in lifetime and just everyday memories. My style of scrapbooking is somewhat clean and eclectic. I love combining different products and using a lot of colors. I put a lot of thoughts into creating my pages but at the same time with ease and fun. I also love photography which I think comes hand in hand with scrapbooking. Most importantly I am married, with three children, grandson and our pet, Lucy. They are my scrapbook subjects and inspiration.

Hi - I'm Antonia. I reside in sunny, Scottsdale , AZ with my boyfriend Nate and our three “furkids”. By day I work as an Instructional Media Designer for an airline, by night I am a grad student majoring in Aeronautical Science. During the times in between, I am a creative machine – I paint, scrapbook, craft and run a small Etsy shop. I’m all about handmade goodness :)

My name is Shannon and I live in Texas with my husband, daughter, and two dogs. I'm a stay-at-home mom who loves scrappin', craftin', photography, home decor, and junkin'. I am so inspired by sketches (and very honored to be here on the Sketchy Thursdays DT) and consider myself biscraptual (I love to scrap paper and digi).

You may be counting and saying... wait, there are 7 new DT members! Those crazy girls said 6! Well, we did say 6. Here's how we restructured the team. Heidi and I will be playing each week. Then, Julie, Lisa and Adora will make up Team A. Beverley, Nely and Antonia are on Team B.

And Shannon... we love that Shannon does digi! We have big plans for Shannon that we'll reveal after we hash them out a bit more. See... we always keep you guessing!

Hey there! This is Heidi. Diana has pretty much said it all but I just had to get in there and reiterate... Thank you again to everyone who applied! It truly was an agonizing decision. We love every one of our Sketchy Players!! You are all so inspiring and it's such a cool feeling to know that what we do inspires you.

And while we are very sad to see our inaugural Design Team off in a few weeks, we are very excited to see what this "new blood" will do for you. We've tried to pick a diversely-talented team and think you will love them, too! So, stay tuned for the new DT debut reveals on April 1. You're gonna love it, no foolin'!
