3.4 sketch challenge

Today, Sketchy Thursdays goes DIGI! As you know, most of the DT here are not digital scrappers, but hey, we're up for anything! We've shown you pages and kits from Sassy Designs, Ltd. before (HERE), and we loved it so much we asked Terry back for more!!

Let's see what the DT made this week with Terry's fab kit and the latest Sketchy Thursdays sketch challenge.

Meet our March GDT member, Melissa!
Hello there, everybody! I am Melissa Goulet, a fellow scrapbooker who lives right outside of Boston, Massachusetts with my beyond-words-wonderful boyfriend and our two sweet, yet hilarious cats.

I began scrapbooking about four years ago when my boyfriend's sister was graduating from college and I wanted to give her a thoughtful and meaningful gift. It then turned into just something to do in my free time, and later evolved into so much more...a way to savor and document all of the big and little moments that make me laugh, cry, love and feel grateful for everything that life has to offer. It's a way to discover more about myself those I love and express my feelings and gratitude...and getting to do all of this while being creative, what's not to love?
When I am not scrapping, taking pictures, cooking or being with the wonderful people in my life, I have the good fortune of spending the day teaching a bunch of amazing kindergartners, and learning just as much from them.

I love the sketches that Diana and Heidi bring us every week and find so much inspiration from not only the sketches themselves, but from all of the amazing layouts that people contribute each week. I am beyond thrilled to be the Guest Design Team Member for the month of March! You can find me over at sunlight & simplicity. Come on over and say hi! :-)

And here is what Melissa made for this week's reveal! Love it!! We've loved every second of Melissa's time with us so far!!

Up for grabs this week for one random winner is the awesome and beautiful digi kit from Sassy Designs, Ltd. Your entry this week does not have to be digi, you can continue to treat the sketch as you normally would.

Oh, and did you see Tessa's reveal page. She used this kit, but printed out the pieces and treated them as traditional scrapbook paper. I thought that was a very cool way to use a digi kit.

My name is Terry Ann Taylor and I own Sassy Designs, Ltd. I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and started out as a Web site designer back in 1997. Through the years, I started branching out and doing print / publication design and ad design.

I’m really into creating digital papers and unique design elements—along with my card templates that started the whole process. I like depth and texture and layers in my layouts and I want to make those elements easy for anyone to add to their designs!

Thanks again, Terry! Make sure you check out her shop at Sassy Designs, Ltd.
(Oh, did you see the kit says "happy birthday" on it? That's for Terry's b-day!! Leave her some birthday love!!!! She has a Facebook fan page...just sayin'!!)

Well, I submitted mine, not digi, but when I was looking at everyone's pages (which are amazing, you all!), I did get to pick up a free digi kit. So who knows, I might just be trying this out soon! Loved this sketch, and I got to use my new Crate Paper Brook collection on it!
