February Guest Design Team Challenge

OK, I seriously cannot believe I'm already talking about February.

It's that time of month again for the Guest Design Team Challenge.

This month let's get nostalgic.  Vintage-y.  Bombshells, pin-ups, 1950s kitchens, wood-paneled Woodys, dress forms...you get the picture.  I'm inspired by all the gorgeous throwback styles popping up all over the scrapping world.  (Cosmo Cricket, Graphic 45, Webster's Pages, etc.)

And here's your "vintage" Sketchy Thursdays sketch to get you started:

Give us a direct link to your layout in the comments on this post by 11:59pm EST Saturday 1/23 for your chance to be included in the voting.

We're going to try something a bit different this month.  Our DT will vote for their top 5 and that will be the 5 the public will vote on.  Voting will be open 1/24 - 1/26 with the winner announced 1/27.  Don't worry - our DT is very fair.  We all base our votes on the execution of the challenge on the layouts at hand, not who made them or past entries by any person.

Not only will February's GDT member get to work with the entire month's sketches before they're released and will have their creations posted with each reveal, but they will also receive some awesome products from Your Memories Here.

Your Memories Here offers quality paper crafting supplies from Provo Craft (Cricut & Cuttlebug), Prima, Bind-it-All, Imaginisce, The Robin’s Nest Dew Drops and Pebbles Inc.

The on-line store is owned and operated by Kristina Byers, a stay at home mom and paper crafter, dedicated to delivering fast and friendly service. Visit their DT blog http://www.ymhdesigns.blogspot.com/ for daily inspiration and a monthly contest. Sign up for the monthly newsletter to receive updates on sales and special promotions.

Your Memories Here is generously offering up this prize pack for our February GDT winner:

Prima Obsessions embossed flowers multi-color pack, Pebbles Inc. Spring Stencils 10 in a reusable tin case, Imaginisce Snag 'em Stamp "blossom" , a bag of 50 The Robin's Nest Tear Drops in the "Sea Glass" colors and a package of Chatterbox Wood Frames.

So excited to see your vintage side!

Here is mine! One of the most difficult challenges ever for me, because vintage is just no my style. But that's what a challenge is for, right? I hope you like it!
