There will not be a new sketch announced this week b/c of the holiday, however, stop back by this weekend for a special, unique and very exciting challenge hosted by Heidi. There will be a whopping great prize from a well-known sponsor (I'm just sayin'.... lol)
And, because I am that type of person, I want to take a minute and say that on this holiday I am thankful for all of you who read and play along with this blog every week. When I started this challenge on my personal blog, it was exciting to have 5 people play. I was excited to be meeting new friends and just having fun drawing up sketches each week for myself and then sharing them with those handful of people.
When Heidi told me she'd help me run a site if I wanted to start this challenge blog, I was excited but afraid it would be a flop. OMG... who even would have guessed that from Sept to Nov we'd have more than 25,000 click ins and 385 followers. We've been blessed with great scrappy friends and wonderful manufacturers, vendors, kit clubs and Etsy sellers to support this endeavor.
Today... I am thankful for all of you! Thank you! Thank you for coming here, playing each week and giving your time to these sketches. I know you have a lot of choices for where you play and put your energy. I am thankful each week that you choose us.

I, too, am soooooo thankful for all our followers. And I'm especially thankful for my BFF Diana who actually took me up on the offer to partner together. We all know there wouldn't be a Sketchy Thursdays without the amazing talent of Diana. Big hugs and a huge mwah to you, my dear!
I'm also very thankful for you site and your sketches! Although I don't often get them done in the weeks time, I do eventually get to use them for inspiration. Congrats to Mica!
