APRIL

April is the driving force behind Studio Calico. 
 

 
The need to express herself creatively began at a young age. She and her sister would draw on typing paper, fold it in half, then walk around their family-owned hardware store selling their "greeting cards" for a quarter each. Twenty-five years later, she still loves to create.  The ongoing evolution of her creativity resulted in Studio Calico.

THE PHILOSOPHY
 
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.


Studio Calico encourages the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.

Besides their monthly kits, Studio Calico offers many other scrapbooking products.  I just love this twine.  And they make their own patterened papers!  And stamps - look at this one.  And this one.  And so loving this one.
