Second Chance Challenge - Lil Scrappin Mama

Since we started this challenge blog what, only about a month ago, Diana and I have been having SO MUCH FUN inspiring you with fun challenges and showering you with AMAZING prizes.  We hope you are having just as much fun!  (Tell your friends!  The more the merrier!!)

This Second Chance Challenge is brought to you by Lil Scrappin Mama. 

Lil Scrappin Mama is a monthly scrapbooking kit club that was born out of extreme love of this hobby and the desire to help other scrappers love it as well. They offer the latest and newest products in the scrapbook industry in each of their monthly kits, along with other innovative supplies, so their members are able to create beautiful pages of their special times. All their paper and embellishments are designed to coordinate perfectly together.

Lil Scrappin Mama has generously provided their October kit as the prize for this Second Chance Challenge.

The Sketchy Thursdays Design Team had a chance to play with the kit and I can tell you, without a doubt, this is one gorgeous, entirely scrappable kit.  There isn't a single "dud" piece in the whole thing.  And there is enough in there to make SEVERAL layouts!!

So, what's the challenge, you ask??  Well, as you can surmise from the sneaky peek, the kit has a fall/family theme in primarily browns and oranges. 

The challenge - create a layout:

* with a fall or family theme

* with browns and oranges as the MAIN color scheme

* with a pop of either TEAL or HOT PINK added to the color scheme

You don't have to use a Sketchy Thursdays sketch, although it is encouraged.  When posting your layout, if you do use a Sketchy Thursdays sketch, please let us know which one you used. 

You have until Friday, October 23 at midnight EST to post your layout to the special Second Chance Challenge Mr. Linky included at the bottom of this post.

Diana used the special Sketchy Thursdays sketch for the Memories Always-Forever Fall Festival Online Crop going on this weekend also.  (Both Diana and I are hosting challenges for the crop...come join us!!)  And Diana being the overachiever that she is used BOTH teal and hot pink! 

Heidi:

I used my favorite Sketchy Thursdays sketch from 9/24.

Unfortunately, our DT member across the pond, Amanda, hadn't as of publish received her kit...however, we will be sure to show off her creation, too, as soon as she gets her mits on this amazing kit!!
