November Guest Design Team Challenge

I'm sure you'll all agree our first Guest Designer Mo has been adding some serious talent and inspiration to Sketchy Thursdays!! And, yes, her term isn't up until the end of the month, but we need to get our November Guest Designer squared away.

So, do YOU think you have what it takes to be a Sketchy Thursdays Guest Designer?? What can YOU bring to the table? SHOW US!!!! INSPIRE US!!!!

I know you probably all have gotten your fill this month with Halloween but I HAVEN'T! I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!! It's my second favorite holiday. (Thanksgiving is my first. I don't know why I love spending days preparing and HOURS cooking a meal that is over in 20 minutes but I JUST DO.)

Your GDT prompt, should you choose to participate is...drumroll please...



Fantasy Trick or Treat

Show me what would be dropped into your trick-or-treat bag if it could be anything your little heart desires. (And, no, you don't have to be able to carry the bag, LOL!)

(Just for you, Mo!)

You may use any past or current Sketchy Thursdays sketch for your layout. (Please tell us in your post which sketch you use.) Traditional Halloween colors and images are encouraged but not required.

But, since this is, after all, for a GDT position, you're gonna have to work a bit for it. I want you to TRICK and TREAT for it!!

TRICK - you must use something unexpected on your layout, something that isn't normally used in scrapbooks.

AND

TREAT - I want to see BOTH paint and bling on your layout.

You have until midnight (EST) Saturday, October 24 to get your entry in. Please post your layout to Mr. Linky below.

Oh, and for some extra incentive, November's GDT member will receive at the end of their term an awesome RAK from our wonderful sponsor Flamingo Scraps. (Yes, that IS the unclaimed Grand Opening prize!! I know! I know! I can't believe it wasn't claimed either!)

The winner will be chosen Dancing With the Stars style...the Sketchy Thursdays Design Team's votes will count for 1/2 the results and we'll open up the "blog lines" for one day, Sunday, 10/25 for the audience's votes which will count for the other 1/2 of the results.

The November Guest Design Team Member will be announced on Monday, 10/26!!

Please, only one entry per person.

Entry must be in the form of a layout.

Entry must comply with all facets of the challenge. (prompt, sketch, trick, treat)

Entry must be posted to Mr. Linky by midnight (EST) Saturday, 10/24.
