Here's the next sketch! And can I just tell you that every one of us on the DT love this one! It was so fun to work with, and it made for frame-able pages. Here is what we came up with to get your creative juices flowing!
AmandaGuest Design Team Member Announcement
Also, its time to let you in on a little secret! We'll be having Guest Design Team members! Each GDT will get a 4-week term and will be showcased here on Thursdays with the rest of the DT. The best part... You get the sketches in advance!!
The very first GDT for Sketchy Thursdays is none other than Maureen "Mo" Kao! We love Mo! She has proudly sponsored here before with her wonderful MoMoStamper Etsy store vintage butterflies, and she plays all the time.
In fact, this last time she was even playing subconsciously, which was really funny! Here's a little bit more about Maureen:
I was lucky enough to experience a wonderful childhood living in Waipahu, Hawaii. I've had many great memories!! I now live in Washington State with my family. I have 2 wonderful parents, 2 beautiful sisters, a supportive husband, and 2 funny active kids! I work as a registered nurse part time so I can spend a lot of time with my family, especially my children.
I have been scrapbooking since 1997! I started scrapbooking my adventures as a college student and have scrapbooked ever since! In 2007, I was introduced to the world of Stampin' Up! through a workshop at a friends house and my addiction grew. I also started card making and been having so much fun since then!
My family is my inspiration these days. I want to tell our story. I also wish I had photos of my grandparents and my parents as children, but their many photos burned in a fire, unable to be saved. So it's very important for me to preserve my family memories to pass on to future generations and to tell the story of our laughter, happiness, love, sadness and even flaws.
Here is the card that Maureen did for the 9.24 Sketchy Thursdays reveal. I adore this! How cute is that bird cage, and the papers she chose are amazing!

Wow, you guys are good... love the inspiration. Last night at scrap and dash we worked with three different colored papers that all had the same rosy design color--I would have never thought to put those together myself, but the designer was awesome! I might try the sketch with those colors and see how you all like it, you can critique my own attempt!
